A Home Threaded in Greenery
A Harmonious Blend of Floral Patterns Throughout
Step into the serene sanctuary of our clients' pied-à-terre in Brentwood, where a once-blank, modern canvas was transformed into a verdant getaway reminiscent of a lush garden retreat. With a vision to infuse tranquility into every corner, we embarked on a journey to weave nature throughout the space. Embracing the elegance of botanical motifs, we incorporated intricate moulding, including crown moulding and wall paneling, to add depth and character to the interiors.
In the living room, walls adorned with wisteria trellis wallpaper serve as artwork within architectural panels. And a grand custom sectional takes center stage, allowing the perfect space for family to gather.
Architectural details in both the coffee table and wood detailing of the chairs are reminiscent of a garden trellis. And subtle pops of green throughout tie in beautifully with the wisteria wallpaper. And a large green houndstooth rug provides the perfect base for the room.
Adjacent to the living room, the dining room features a antique Belgian oak wood dining table paired with custom, bold green dining chairs. A watercolor pattern on the chairs plays nicely with the vintage Murano glass chandelier. And the wisteria-paneled walls continues from the living room. Two wicker end chairs adds onto the feeling of being in a true garden.
The dining room leads into the kitchen, which further carries through the theme of greenery. When we first embarked on this project, the kitchen and banquette area was new but not unique to our client’s style. So we worked to keep the structure in tact but modify and design around these features. A beautiful Phillip Jeffries grasscloth wallpaper and the addition of a functional chair rail adds the perfect canvas for artwork and a vintage Italian tole light fixture.
In the master bedroom, a cheerful green wallpaper sets the stage for a custom bed detailed with a Thibaut fabric and Samuel & Sons cording. The materials and patterns blend together with the use of trim, cording, and fabric. Custom sconces tie in with a purple color story. Our clients were looking for a serene retreat that felt calming and colorful.
We utilized an empty wall nook for an antique mirror center piece with trim and moulding as a beautiful architectural element in the bedroom. A beautiful, custom sofa provides the seating area just off the bed and a wrought-iron ivy adorned lamp further pushes the garden motif.
In the refreshed bathroom, soft green wallpaper sets a serene backdrop, complemented by vintage Murano glass sconces and mirrors that cast a colorful glow. A bold turquoise vanity adds a pop of color, creating a harmonious balance of calm and vibrancy.
In the powder bathroom, a custom embroidered wallpaper provides the perfect stage is paired with exquisite Italian tole sconces and mirror. When our client purchased this home, the concrete sink and nero marquina vanity were not her style. But with thoughtful repurposing and a keen eye for design, we've seamlessly integrated these existing elements into our client's style direction, ensuring that every aspect of the space reflects their unique taste and personality.
Within the charming laundry room, practicality meets charm in a delightful blend of style and functionality. Adorned with an eye-catching Scalamandre ivy wallpaper, strategically placed panels wrap around the entire room, infusing it with whimsical allure and timeless elegance.
Let’s get started.
